We've had brackets out in the field being tested for the last few months and now it's time to make it available. The purpose of the bracket is to be able to hang your bag from a bucket hook. It was mainly developed to hang our ditty bag, to give you a flexible "oval bag" that can hang on one hook instead of two and hold whatever you can fit inside. It won't jam you up like a typical oval bag and will always stay open because of the flexible stiffener we sew into the opening of the bag. Magnets are an option as well to quickly hold a wrench, set of dies or whatever else you want to keep at the top of the bag to grab real quick.
This bracket will fit all of our bags- ditty, rubber glove, high roller and sleeve bag. When you add the magnets it will come with the HIGH VOLTAGE cover to protect the magnets. The bracket will come with mounting hardware (brass screws and binding posts). It is recommended to use thread locker when you mount this to your bag and to check the screws regularly. Blue thread locker will hold for a long time, but will eventually degrade. Red thread locker is advertised to hold forever, but it's linework, nothing last forever in linework. So, if you use red and want to take the bracket off you will most likely have to drill out the screws to remove the bracket. They're brass screws and they're easy to drill out and easy to replace, so it's not a big deal. When we ship out bags with brackets attached we use blue thread locker. If you don't have thread locker you can peen the threads as well
The three holes in the bracket are tapped 8/32 threads for you boys out there that like to get creative
